Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actress. She has also produced films like Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. As a young girl Paula Patton grew up in a Los Angeles middle-class household. The mother of her children was a film buff and was able to instill the love of movies in the girl. Paula was active in the co-curricular activities of her school and particularly awed by dramatics. Paula loved playing the role of an actor alongside her peers and was a participant in the school's stage productions. She went to in the University of Southern California for an intensive summer program and was enthralled by it. She was given a three month assignment to make documentaries for PBS. She began her career as a TV production assistant after completing this assignment. After that, she began producing documentaries. However, she had always wanted to become an actress, although she was content in her present job. Her acting debut came by playing a supporting role in the romantic comedy of Will Smith Hitch. In the years since, she has been in a variety of film and TV shows.
