Lowell began acting when she appeared in Dangerously Close. She then played a small part on the Robin Williams film Club Paradise. She also had roles co-starring alongside Bond girl Pam Bouvier, in the James Bond movie Licence to Kill (1989), and as Assistant District Attorney Jamie Ross, in 1996. She also appeared on Law & Order for two seasons. In 2005, she appeared in the similar role as Jamie Ross on Law & Order: Trial by Jury. Also, in 2022 on the original series. Prior to landing that role, however she was unhappy with her acting career and decided to pursue a degree in documentary filmmaking at New York University. [4] She was not acting until the mid-2000s. In 2012, Lowell lent her likeness and voice , while also reprising her Licence to Kill role in the video game 007 Legends. In 2018, she returned to TV, where she was a guest on Blue Bloods. [7][8] Personal life Lowell was married three times. John Stember was her first husband. She was married to him from 1984 to 1988. [9][10] The couple were married from 1989 until 1995 to actor Griffin Dunne and they have one daughter named Hannah. [citation needed] Lowell was married to Richard Gere in November 2002 11 years following the birth of their son Homer James Jigme Gere. After 11 years of union, the couple split in September of 2013.
